Hope to learn a bit more about it the upcoming week when Sogyal Rinpoche wil teach in Amsterdam.
The Ghanta & Vajra on this customer represent the male(scepter) and female(bell) principle.

The bats probably come from chinese symbolism where they mean good luck.

Thursday, February 18th, 2010Last Sunday:14-2-2010, was the beginning of the Tibetan/Chinese New year, in TIbetan called “Losar”…It will be the Year of the Iron Tiger..
So here’s to the new year! May it be a special one , and may it bring clarity & wisdom.
To accompany this New years message I’ve enclosed a drawning and tattoo of Padmasambhava, the Buddha of Tibet…Tashi Delek!
