Fat Buddha?
November 24th, 2009The man pictured in these tattoos is,on the contrary of popular belief, not the Buddha.
He was a Chinese man called Hotai or pootai who had found the Buddha in himself and wandered the chinese landscape.
He is one of the seven housegods in Japan, and is consisered to bring fortune and happiness and is often seen with money or playing with children..

And he told me it cuts through Passion, aggression and ignorance…
